I like it, but isn’t there much more of a height difference between them?
Also, I liked that you darkened Marco’s hair in the other one … the non-shadedness in this one bothers me. Are you going to color this eventually?
To be fair, Salad, Jake is hunched over. *shrugs*
I noticed that, but Jake is described as “big” and Marco as noticeably short. So I’d think there’d be at least a foot of difference between them, maybe more. And in the next panel he’s NOT slouched over, and there’s still not much difference.
Besides, Cassie is also described as “short” and she says she’s about four feet tall around book 24. So I’d think Marco would be close to that, or they wouldn’t go out of their way to describe him as short as well.

At least you know from my criticalness here that I was completely honest in my comment on the other panel. cause if it hadn’t been perfect, I would have said something. haha.
Thanks for the critique! I need to work on a more consistent character design. To be honest, all of these panels will probably be redone at some point or changed into an actual graphic novel page format after the proper character design is established, so just consider these as place holders for now! Thanks for the input!
